Laser Cutting Machine Operator

Job Description
We are looking for a motivated person to join our metalworking company AMS nv in Zemst (Eppegem). Are you the enthusiastic colleague who will operate our laser cutting machine during day shifts?
Responsibilities
- Operating a modern laser cutting machine capable of cutting up to 25 mm plate thickness.
- Removing cut parts manually.
- Feeding stainless steel pieces through the deburring machine.
- Using an overhead crane (training can be provided) to place sheets and parts on the machine.
- Using a forklift to move sheet packs in and out of the racks.
- Maintaining a tidy and organized workspace.
- Bundling the cut components.
Profile
- Motivation and a positive mindset are key.
- Experience with Trumpf machines is a plus, but not required. Operators without laser experience are welcome, provided they have a technical mindset and interest in machine operation.
- Background in metalworking is an advantage.
- Experience with an overhead crane is a plus, but not required.
- You speak very good Dutch, as communication with the preparer/programmer is in Dutch.
- You work full-time (39 hours/week) in a single day shift.
